This vintage black hand painted wood basket purse in the Caro Nan style is a exceptional addition to any collection. This purse is made from wood and painted in black and has delightful details of ladybugs, mushrooms, and an inch worm added to the purse.
This basket purse is also adorned with a red bow trim around the opening, merely before the lid. And the inside is lined with adorable blue and white fabric with red flowers. The ladybugs mushrooms and inchworm are not painted on but rather affixed to the purse. The inside of the lid is inscribed "By Mom" & there is the name "Judie" inscribed between the hardware on the inside of the lid.
The purse is flawless for adding a touch of whimsy to any outfit and is sure to make a statement. It is ideal for use as a clutch or as a handbag & is suitable for any occasion.
There is a bit of a stain on the red covered bottom & a lady bug marked on it. See pictures. Sold AS-IS.
