There are no boxes or instruction manuals.There is a cut on the back of the chessboard (see photo 8), but it has a quality exceptional to wood. The writing was present at the time of purchase (see photos 6 and 7). Please verify this.I ask for understanding from those who can accept the condition of a used item that may have been stored by an amateur for a long time and show signs of aging. This has been kept in my family, and I will disinfect and carefully package it for shipping.
